  Builder: R Marsh/J Haylock 1982   No.5 Sapper 2-6-0
      Sapper was started in 1978. The bogie and chassis were finished in 1980 and these were dispatched to Roger Marsh for him to produce a partly-built locomotive. Sapper was then completed at Tucktonia during the winter of 1982 and entered service in the spring of the same year. This locomotive was to be the mainstay for the next five years at Tucktonia and later at Moors Valley. It was rebuilt in 1993 with a new chassis. Its livery is Brunswick Green with orange and black lining.
